An idea is formed
Whilst building a downstream data warehousing business we spotted a huge opportunity to improve data upstream for business users. Our co-founder Nick pitches the idea in 5 slides to 5 Managing Agents. Leading carrier Brit agrees to partner with us to further develop the application.

Technical architect is hired
Richard Pennington joined to lead on design and implementation. Richard worked closely with Brit to iteratively produce version 1.

DQPro V1 is released at Brit on April 1st
Use cases immediately grew to 60+ in the first 8 months.

Data quality becomes the main focus
The Data Warehousing part of the business is sold to Moore Stephens LLP, our focus becomes data quality full time.

Usage grows overseas
Usage extends to US, Brazil, France and Germany.

First user forum
The first of our user forums. These forums remain highly popular (and continue to grow) with our customers as a place to connect with their peers and share ideas.

Reporting dashboard released
Providing immediate value to our growing customer base by leveraging the power of PI software by delivering metrics on user performance and high-level management information (MI).

Rebrand to DQPro!
Out with the green, in with the pink and purple! We rebranded from Atticus Associates to DQPro.

DQPro Market Standard ™ V1 released
Contributions from the carriers within our customer base allowed us to compile and release a key ruleset for front end data validation to our customers.

A market leader
Our customer base expands to over a 40% share of the Lloyd’s insurance market, by £GWP monitored.

API is launched
Integrating with UW workbench apps, placing platforms and other 3rd party systems. Usage grows to over 1600+ non-technical business users.

New CEO
James Loft joins as our new CEO.

Joined InsurTech Corridor
The InsurTech Corridor is a key part, of the commercial pillar, of the US-UK Financial Innovation Partnership.

U.S. expansion
Established our US base of operations in Hartford, CT.

Joins Insurtech UK
DQPro becomes part of the only trade association for Insurtechs in the UK.

10 year anniversary
A milestone in our journey, with growth into a new market and being adopted by 50% of the world’s largest specialty insurers. DQPro continues to go from strength to strength.
