DQPro 2024 Year in Review: Reflecting on a Remarkable Year

As 2024 draws to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve had at DQPro. This year has been nothing short of transformative, marked by meaningful engagement with our customers, significant achievements, and exciting milestones that have set the stage for an even brighter 2025.

One of the highlights of 2024 was the opportunity to connect with our customers through multiple Customer Forums. These events were not just a chance to meet face-to-face but also a platform for sharing ideas and collaboratively tackling the challenges we all face. Together, we’ve explored practical solutions that drive collective progress, and the energy and insights from these sessions has been truly inspiring.

At the start of the year, we embarked on a mission to achieve ISO 27001 certification. This milestone builds on our existing Cyber Essentials accreditation and significantly strengthens the Information Security Management System (ISMS) protections for all our customers. As a testament to our commitment, we’ve completed ISO mid year and have seamlessly rolled out DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) protections by year-end, ensuring robust safeguards across the board.

2024 was a breakthrough year for our hosted version of DQPro. Multiple customers and new prospects are now successfully leveraging our hosted solutions, and the pipeline for 2025 is already brimming with enthusiasm from those eager to join. This momentum underscores the growing demand for flexible, scalable solutions that empower organisations to achieve their data goals.

We also launched our first-ever market survey this year, delving into how our customers and the broader market perceive the future of data and data management. This initiative offered valuable insights into the challenges and aspirations of data professionals, highlighting areas where DQPro can make a tangible impact. The survey has laid the foundation for initiatives that will shape the future of data management.

Another significant achievement in 2024 was the publication of our inaugural whitepaper, created in collaboration with industry leaders from several carrier companies. This collaborative effort not only defined a vision for the future of data but also provided strategic and practical tools for data professionals. We are immensely proud of the collective expertise that made this project possible and you can download a copy here.

Our value to the market continues to resonate, as evidenced by the addition of several new customers who trust DQPro to drive their data quality and governance initiatives. Internally, our team has grown and evolved, with exciting leadership changes. I took on the role of full-time CEO, Sarah Hilton stepped into the role of COO, and we welcomed several new team members whose unique perspectives and skills are driving us forward.

As we step into 2025, we are brimming with plans and ambitions. From elevating our product to defining a long-term roadmap, we are committed to supporting our customers in addressing both current and future challenges. With a calendar full of events and initiatives, we are excited to see what the next year holds for DQPro and our community.

Finally, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our incredible team and our valued customers. Your unwavering support and dedication have been the cornerstone of our success in 2024. As we move into 2025, I am more confident than ever in what we can achieve together.
